Job Overview
As a Home Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to individuals through home care services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting their independence.
The position involves maintaining a safe environment, ensuring that each individual has support and care required on an individual basis and keeping records of care and support provided.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in maintaining their daily routines and engaging in social activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition or behaviour to the appropriate personnel..
- Follow individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Utilise IT systems for recording information and communicating with the care team as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to drive is preferred for roles involving home visits
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- Assist with personal care and basic caregiving activities.
- Provide support and assistance to clients and families.
- Follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Ability to create and implement care plans
- Strong communication skills
- Driving license and access to the vehicle is essential
