The health care assistant is required to carry out a number of designated tasks, of which will involve direct care, in support of and under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Work as an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care assistant position working on our Specialist Receiving Unit, caring for patients from the four specialities, Oncology, Haematology, Renal & Infectious Diseases.
Acute medicine is undergoing some new exciting changes and this is a great opportunity to be a part of this.Based at Nottingham City Hospital, our Specialist Receiving Unit unit prides itself on providing excellent care. We are a unit that is dynamic and fast paced, caring for patients admitted through our Emergency Department, from home and other out-patient areas.
This is an opportunity to learn new skills and develop in an area that is passionate about continued professional development.
We are looking for an individual who is keen to learn, confident, self-motivated and enjoys a challenge. The successful candidate will be competent in patient observations and providing personal care, venepuncture, cannulation and ECG recordings.
