Scholarship Program Overview

The BLCU-China Link Program aims to create meaningful academic connections between Chinese institutions and the global academic community. This program is open to undergraduates, master’s students, Ph.D. candidates, and faculty members who wish to engage in scholarly activities across various fields, such as Chinese Language and Literature, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, and International Economy and Trade.

Benefits of the Scholarship

Selected applicants will receive a comprehensive scholarship funded by the CSC, which includes:

• Tuition Waiver: Full coverage of academic tuition for the duration of the program.
• Accommodation: Free on-campus housing at BLCU.
• Monthly Stipend:
  • CNY 3,000 for general scholars (undergraduates and master’s students).
  • CNY 3,500 for senior scholars (Ph.D. candidates and faculty members).
• Medical Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for the entirety of the stay.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the China Link Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Citizenship: Be a non-Chinese citizen of good moral character, with strong academic standing and good physical and mental health.
2. Age Limit: Under 45 years for general scholars (undergraduate and master’s applicants). And under 50 years for senior scholars (Ph.D. candidates and faculty members).
3. Institutional Affiliation: Be currently enrolled as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff member at a CSC-partnered foreign university.
4. Admission Requirement: Have an admission notice or an invitation letter from BLCU.
