Health Care Assistant Main duties
At MSI Reproductive Choices UK our mission is to deliver appropriate and effective care, tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. As a Health care Assistant, your primary role will be to provide personalised care, guided by the preferences of our clients. You will work alongside an accountable Registered Nurse/Midwife, either in a Termination of Pregnancy or Vasectomy setting, ensuring seamless coordination, and adhering to our philosophy of minimal intervention.
Key Responsibilities of the Health Care Assistant:
- Supporting the surgeon: The health care assistant will assist in setting up and cleaning away equipment, ensuring the treatment room is prepared and maintained to the highest standards
- Client support:
- The health care assistant will provide general information and support to clients undergoing procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have in a caring and respectful manner
- Clinic coordination: Assist in the smooth coordination of clinic operations, including managing patient flow, and ensuring adherence to clinic protocols.
- Stock control: Maintain inventory levels ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
- Chaperoning: Serve as a chaperone during procedures as required
