The North Herts Integrated Community Team has an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Health Care Assistant to join us. The post holder must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate collaborative working.

Health Care Assistant Main duties of the job
North Herts Integrated Community Team are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and Gold Accredited Team. You will be working alongside our trained nursing and therapy staff assisting them in the day to day care and management of our patients to ensure they receive safe, high quality nursing care.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work alongside our diverse team comprised of nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and technical instructors. We work to provide evidence based nursing care to patients in their own homes. Our service operates 8am – 10pm 365 days a year. We offer flexible working patterns and are happy to consider full or part time applicants.

In North Herts Integrated Community team we have countless success stories of staff who have joined as a Health Care Assistant and gone on to complete the Nursing Associate training and Registered Nurse top up. This is a brilliant way of progressing within your career with the support of Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. We support our staff throughout their training, with time dedicated to training, university attendance and placements.A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
