Care Worker Duties
– Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
– Drive clients to appointments, outings, or errands
– Offer childcare and engage in behaviour management when required
– Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
– Deliver patient care with empathy and respect, particularly for seniors
– Assist with general household tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
Experience
The following skills are required or desirable for this role:
– Previous experience in caregiving or nursing roles
– Proficiency in meal preparation and medication administration
– Ability to provide senior care with patience and understanding
– Experience in childcare and behaviour management is advantageous
