Job Summary:
As a Chef at Nishads, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, creating new menu items, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Design, develop, and refine menus that are innovative, seasonal, and aligned with our restaurant’s culinary vision.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant’s standards, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and manage junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining proper food storage, handling, and waste disposal practices.
- Cost Management: Assist in managing food costs, waste, and budget adherence to ensure profitability without compromising on quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in Indian cuisine.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and culinary trends.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
