Health Care Assistant Job Description

– Health Care Assistant will provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes
– Health Care Assistant will Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and assistance with toileting
– Health Care Assistant will Administer medications and assist with medication management
– Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
– Accompany clients to appointments and outings
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
– Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to supervisor

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not required
– Compassionate and patient demeanour
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Ability to pass a background check
