Job summary

As a Health Care Assistant in the fracture clinic your role will be varied. The post will support both the registered nurse and the medical staff by ensure the efficient and safe flow of patients through the clinic, support patients and relatives and act as patients advocate whilst maintaining professionalism at all times.

The interview date for this role will be the 3rd January 2025.

 

Health Care Assistant Main Duties

The Health Care Assistant is vital in the running of the service and needs to be a great team player.

 

The Health Care Assistant will participate in taking blood samples and carrying out dressings and swabs as needed, supporting their peers in providing the highest standard of care for all patient and relatives.

Experience

Essential

  • At least 6 months of care experience working in a health or social care setting.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Care Certificate
  • Completion of a clinical skills competency- based workbook or equivalent relevant experience to vocational qualification level 3, or willingness to undertake.
  • GCSE Maths & English or qualified to equivalent Functional skills level 2 in Maths & English, or willingness to undertake.
