About the Job: Health Care Assistant needed in NHS jobs
The health care assistant will offer 1-1 support and care in line with care plans and risk assessments. To assist clients, as needed, eating, toileting, mobilising, and getting into and out of transport. Some clients access a weekly bathing service and day centre staff are required to meet this personal care need.
The health care assistant will help in meeting the personal care and support needs of clients in a way that respects dignity and promotes independence both in the centre and on outings. Complete basic daily records within client files and on our IT system Good understanding of the needs of older people Awareness and understanding of Dementia/cognitive impairments.
