EPUT ‘Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust’ are recruiting for a Health care Assistant to work within our Immunisation service covering South Mid Essex.
The service will primarily be delivered through a school based model, offering all school aged vaccinations including the intranasal flu vaccination.
We require flexible workers to cover Monday – Friday and occasional Saturday shifts.
This is a part-time post and therefore does not meet the Home Office’s salary threshold for sponsorship. Any applications requiring a Certificate of Sponsorship will therefore be rejected.
Health Care Assistant Main duties
The immunisation service in EPUT is recognised nationally for its innovative and creative service modelling. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality flexible services and are looking for like-minded people to join our teams.
You will be an experienced health care assistant with an NVQ level 3 in Health & Social care or equivalent. We will require you to have well developed communication and organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team and autonomously under direction.
The health care assistant must like children and have a compassionate manner when dealing with large groups of children and be able to work in a busy school setting and clinic environment.
You will be required to travel to local schools and clinics when on duty.
