Health Care Assistant Main Duties
The band 3 Health Care Assistant is a key member of the Emergency Department Team. You will provide a high standard of nursing care and use your extended skills to enhance the patient journey through the department.
You will work closely with medical and nursing staff across the emergency floor You will be competent in your extended skills. These skills include recording of ECG’s, venepuncture, cannulation, basic nursing care, dressings and assisting in the movement of patients through the different areas of the department. You will have the opportunity to develop in your role and have opportunities to learn skills and knowledge and progress.
