We require a Health care Assistant who can take Bloods Tests ECG’s, basic wound care, Diabetes Part 1, B12 and immunisation injections, and NHS Health checks.


Main duties of the Health Care Assistant job

The Health Care Assistant is a core member of the practice team and will provide physical and psychological care to patients in accordance with the specified plan of care and as directed by a registered nurse or other qualified practitioner.

The Health Care Assistant will work to provide person centred and safe care to all patients and accurately record and report patient information to the registered nurse in a timely way and in line with agreed procedures

  • NVQ Level 2 in care
  • Have or be willing to undertake NVQ Level 3 in care
