Job summary
If you have NVQ Level 2, experience of working in a health or social care environment and excellent communication skills this may be the position for you. You will work autonomously, predominantly in the patients home, but you will also be an integral member of the wider, multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide direct personal nursing care, primarily in the patients home and on occasions in other settings such as Community Hospitals, Residential and Nursing homes and Eden Valley Hospice.
The post holder will provide practical nursing care, emotional, social and psychological support to individuals with palliative care needs, their families and carers. This role involves regular and extended involvement with the stress of caring for dying patients and their families.
