We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
Duties:
– Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
– Utilise logistics IT systems.
– Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
– Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the delivery performance.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
– Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
– Work with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline processe
– Previous experience supervising and managing drivers is essential
– Good understanding of relevant driver legislation: Working Time Directive,
Tachograph Legislation
– Possessing strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
– Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
– Ensuring all related transport documents are properly completed, aiding the company’s transition to a paperless solution.
– Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, which encompasses conducting safety-related investigations or audits.
– Coordinating with driver training providers to keep drivers updated on all training aspects and monitoring behavioral improvements where feasible.
– Liaise with Driver Training providers to ensure drivers are kept up to date with all aspects of training as well as monitoring behaviour improvements where possible
Experience:
– Proven experience in a logistics role, demonstrating a strong understanding of supply chain processes
– Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management practices
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
– Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to enhance efficiency
– Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
– Understanding of supply chain principles and practices
