Shift pattern: 08:00-20:00 & 10:00-16:00
The role involves:
- Working as part of a dedicated team to promote ‘recovery’ and maximise the potential of the individual
- Lone Working
- Supporting & assisting in the delivery of 24 hour care, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Role model to residents
- Ensuring suitability, safety & cleanliness of the working environment
- Contributing to daily records and maintaining confidentiality
- Contributing to individual assessments, care planning & reviewing, risk assessment & relapse planning.
- Positively engaging in therapeutic & recreational activities internally & externally
- Promoting a healthy lifestyle including nutrition & exercise
Qualifications / Experience
- Enthusiasm, patience, motivation & a positive, caring attitude
- Excellent communication & written skills
- Commitment to & understanding of person centred care
- Some knowledge & experience of working within adult Mental Health
- Positive attitude to teamwork
- Flexible working
- Level 2 Health & Social care ( not essential as training can be provided)
** Appointment will be dependent upon two suitable references & DBS.
