Healthcare Assistant Job Summary
Ward 33 are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic department. There is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team providing high-quality care to patients undergoing orthopaedic treatments and surgeries.
You will work alongside other healthcare professionals such as Orthopaedic surgeons, Orthogeriatric consultants, Physiotherapists, and Advanced Clinical Practitioners. Communication will be a vital part of your role to ensure safe and holistic care.We take direct admissions from the Emergency Department and also repatriations from other hospitals.
The successful candidate will be expected to model and uphold the Trust values and behaviours, providing a positive Culture and environment for their colleagues and patients.
HealthCare Assistant Main Duties
The successful canditdate will be reasponsible for:
Maintaining a high standard of clinical work when carrying out tasks
Keeping up to date with all mandatory and role specific training
Following our Trust values and behaviours
Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
