Job summary
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Assistant to join our team on Ward 8D. This is a great opportunity to join our friendly and hard working team.
We are looking for a experienced Health Care Assistant with or working towards NVQ LEVEL 3 to support our nursing team.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high standards of nursing care and are keen to develop further.
Health Care Assistant Main duties
Ward 8D is a fast paced 28 Infectious Diseases Unit caring for patients with a mixture of General Medical issues and Tropical Infectious Disease related illnesses. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on excellent care and is keen to progress their career.
You must be an enthusiastic team player who has excellent communication and organisation skills.
We are looking for Health Care Assistant who are passionate about providing high standards of nursing care and are keen to develop further. You must be enthusiastic team players who haveexcellent communication and organisation skills.
As a Band 3Health Care Assistant you will be expected to show leadership and organisation on the ward and relieve pressure on Registered Nursing team through completing tasks such as patient observations, monitoring blood glucose levels, taking ECGs, venepuncture/cannulation and the completion of minor dressings/wound care.
