Health Care Assistant Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced health care assistant to join the Day Case Unit at Royal Stoke.

Join our team as a health care assistant and help us to grow and develop our service.

There are several positions available in the units and some cross site working is required.

 

Health Care Assistant Main Duties

We are looking for people who can work as part of the wider team in maintaining services provided to patients and contribute to the safe, efficient and smooth running of the department

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Over 12 months experience in care

Desirable

  • Experience of supporting colleagues

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Holds a valid Care Certificate

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care

Skills

Desirable

  • Able to undertake routine observations
  • Ability to do basic dressings

Knowledge

Desirable

  • Derm/plastics experience
