We are excited to offer Health Care Assistant  opportunities for a band 2 member of staff to join the Discharge Hub team at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

 

 Health Care Assistant Main duties

The successful Health Care Assistant candidate will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting with the delivery of therapy and rehabilitation to patients who are referred to therapy services.

Health Care Assistant will provide support to the multi professional team by undertaking appropriate duties following assessment and planning of requirements by a registered nurse. Additionally to provide support by undertaking non nursing and ancillary duties.

Job description

Job responsibilities

As this is a Trustwide post, the successful candidate may be required to work between the Stockton and Hartlepool localities.

You will be expected to work flexibly and if required be available for both extended day and seven day working. In return we will provide you with robust induction support and the opportunity to develop with the guidance of experienced Senior staff. We actively support CPD. We pride ourselves on the friendliness of our service.

We are looking for applicants who are dedicated yet flexible in their approach and possess the aptitude to adapt quickly to new situations.

  • Previous HCA experience is an advantage, but not necessary, as on job training would be given
