Recovery Support Worker Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Life Skills Recovery Support Worker Band 4 on Butterfield at Wolfson House and Morrison, Stratford, Shoreditch, Limehouse, Westferry and Bow wards at John Howard Centre.
Our mission is to provide safe, individualised care and treatment for detained in-patients who are in a disturbed phase of a serious mental disorder or have complex risk and other longer term needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to actively form therapeutic, meaningful relationships with patients using a range of interventions/activities to enhance their care and improve their inpatient experience. As a Life Skills Recovery Worker, you will assist in the provision of outstanding recovery focused care as part of the nursing team and wider multi-disciplinary team.
Support Worker Main Duties
Coordinate and facilitate activities for patient
Promoting a safe environment of care that safeguards and protects patients and staff against undue risk.
Facilitating a positive role for patients where open communication and opportunities for learning and decision-making are promoted.
As a Life Skills recovery Worker, you will assist in the provision of outstanding recovery focused care as part of the nursing team and wider multi-disciplinary team.

- GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
Experience
