Rotational Health Care Assistant -Breast Imaging, General Ultrasound, Molecular Imaging and Breast Imaging. We have an exciting opportunity for a Rotational health care assistant to join our Imaging team based at The London Clinic in central London. With a competitive salary range on offer Band 3 NHS equivalent dependent on skills and experinece. Job Profile The health care assistant  will be a qualified Healthcare Assistant with an NVQ in care or equivalent. Patient centred care will be at the forefront of the post holder’s clinical and professional practice and they will demonstrate clinical skills that provide the highest standards possible. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. We do have part time opportunities available also. Shifts: Monday – Friday. Location: The London Clinic’s Imaging Department, 20 Devinshire Place. Salary: The salary for this role is competitive and Band 3 NHS equivalent. Benefits package:

Key Duties

• The health care assistant will assist in the provision of efficient breast imaging, molecular imaging and general ultrasound services.
• The health care assistant will  work under direct or indirect supervision of the, General Radiographers, Molecular Imaging operators, Breast Imaging Radiographers and Consultants.
• The health care assistant will assist with patients’ overall care and safety.
• The health care assistant will support the team to deliver high quality patient centred care.
• To understand and follow ‘The Clinic’ policies and procedures.
• Acknowledge limitations and seek advice / support when necessary.
• The health care assistant will respect the patient’s dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs.
• To work as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Skills & Experience

• To have completed secondary education.
• NVQ in care or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a surgical/ medical area within a hospital environment.
