Croydonsam Training is looking for someone to join our administration team and support to the head of support services and curriculum staff.

As a School Administrator You will manage enquiries and administration tasks relating to courses/exams. You will also provide effective and flexible support for ad hoc business tasks and events, such as those linked to enrolment progression and admissions.

The School Administrator will ensure effective management and delivery of the curriculum, we would need a person who is approachable, great communicator, confident, adaptable and has great administrative skills.

Candidates must be flexible and enthusiastic about working in a team with all members of the centre staff.

The Role

Our administrator duties can include:

· Carry out a range of student-related administration, such as fee collection, enrolments and admissions, student references and reports, to support the effective delivery of courses.

· Participate actively and flexibly in a range of organisation-wide activities, such as enrolment and marketing events and staff and student activities.

· Undertake routine clerical tasks such as filing and photocopying, and maintain stocks of stationery, supplies and information leaflets.

· Carry out data input and maintain student spreadsheets. Accuracy with an attention to detail and high quality is required and completed in a timely manner to deadline ensuring that all records and administration are audit compliant

· Carry out reception and telephone answering service for the organisation to ensure the provision of an efficient and helpful response to students and visitors

· To carry out other duties such as telesales, contacting new, existing and potential clients in order to promote Croydonsam services

· Participate in training and team development activities to further develop skills and knowledge

· To collate and check all learner’s forms and produce concise learner’s files electronically and hard copy

· To check enrolment forms for accuracy and post entry onto the relevant data systems.

· To create and maintain Excel spreadsheets as required.

· To liaise with Internal and External (Partners) advisers by telephone and email.

· To follow up on missing paperwork and troubleshoot to ensure compliance in preparation for audit.

· To accurately store all paperwork in a timely manner

· To work as part of the team in ensuring that the systems and processes are adhered to

· Implement agreed systems for monitoring student attendance, providing reports on absence and recording transfer and exit data, to ensure that records are up-to-date and accurate.

· Deal with routine correspondence and enquiries from students, parents, employers, outside agencies and internal staff, referring on to appropriate specialist staff in accordance with organisational procedures.

· Maintain regular liaison with specified staff and to refer queries, provide information, arrange appointments with specialist advisers and ensure the effective implementation of organisation procedures.

Ideal must haves

· University undergraduate degree

· Experience handling and prioritising multiple workloads

· Experience of working with data systems

· Excellent IT Skills

· Detailed knowledge of a student academic life cycle
