Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and have a proven track record of driving organic traffic to ecommerce websites. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve our website’s visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs) and attract more visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value target keywords for our products and categories.
• Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and content to improve search engine rankings.
• Develop and implement link building strategies to increase the authority of our website.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, and web development to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of our website.
• Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy
• Track and analyze website analytics reports
• Manage SEO projects from conception to completion
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices

Experience:
– Proven work experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role
– In-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO copywriting, and on-page optimization
– Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
– Excellent communication and project management skills

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Experience optimizing ecommerce websites and familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with A/B testing and website performance optimization
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO
• Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant certifications

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
