Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT systems, Cloud Infrastructure and ensuring their smooth operation.
Duties of the Systems Administrator
· Meet with clients and colleagues to determine systems implementation plans and support needs
· Install and configure software, hardware, and networks
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
· Collaborate with Information Security and Data security teams to review, audit & implement system controls
· Set-up system accounts for users and power users
· Upgrade system(s) with new releases and security patches
· Build Wikis and technical documentation for accountable systems
· Train new staff and power users on the system architecture, service delivery model and release projects
· Interact with client IT teams and provider IT teams to provide efficient support and design future systems design
· Constantly learn new technologies and developments in the systems space
· Generate system performance and uptime reports
· Optimize system architecture to reduce costs based on usage analysis
· Adhere to all client SLAs and KPIs in systems support delivery
Qualifications
– Proficient in English
– Strong time management skills
– Experience with AWS and Azure
– Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP protocols
– Familiarity with virtualisation technologies
– Ability to troubleshoot IT issues effectively
