MOPGA 2025 Fellowship in France is Available Now

The French government is inviting early-career international researchers to contribute to climate change and environmental issues under its prestigious Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) 2025 Visiting Fellowship Program. France, a major player in the global fight against climate change and a champion of the Paris Agreement, has established this initiative to strengthen scientific contributions to climate change issues highlighted by the COPs (Conferences of the Parties).

The MOPGA fellowship is a collaborative effort funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research, and it is managed by Campus France.

Selected fellows will be provided with numerous benefits to support their research endeavors in France:

  • Funding and Financial Support: A generous financial grant to cover research costs, accommodation, and living expenses.
  • 12-Month Research Tenure: Fellows will engage in a full year of research in France, beginning in September 2025, offering ample time to make a meaningful impact in their fields.
  • Global Network Collaboration: Fellows will have access to a rich network of leading scientists, policymakers, and institutions engaged in climate and environmental research in France.
  • Contribution to the Global Climate Effort: The fellowship allows researchers to actively contribute to addressing critical climate change issues, providing an unparalleled platform for meaningful work.
