AUT PhD Scholarship Overview
AUT offers two types of doctoral scholarships:
- AUT Vice Chancellor’s Doctoral Scholarships – Available throughout the year for outstanding students, this scholarship is offered to new doctoral applicants with exceptional academic achievements. For New Zealand-based students with a GPA of 8.0 or above, and Māori and domestic Pacific applicants with a GPA of 7.5 or above, the scholarship promises full tuition coverage and a generous stipend.
- AUT Doctoral Scholarships – Open to all eligible candidates (New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and international students), these scholarships will be available three times a year: November 1, 2024, 1st March 2025, and 15th July 2025. AUT will provide full tuition fees and an annual living stipend of NZD 33,000!
